At the age of 40, Poit had already founded and closed sales of 5 companies in a variety of sectors, such as electrical installation, transportation, and fruit.
After some frustration with a generator supplier, he saw an opportunity to start Poit Energia to provide end-to-end service in generator rentals -- from wiring to providing on-call service professionals to supplying machines.
The business grew along with the demand and very quickly Poit Energia became bigger than he imagined. He focused on growth, and, in 2002, he was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
In 2012, Aggreko, the world leader in the sector, acquired 100% of Poit Energia. Upon stepping down as CEO, he became a business advisor to SP Negócios and SP Turis and later accepted the invitation to be president.
In the public sector, he discovered opportunities to continue to have a positive impact. Today he is Superintendent Director at Sebrae-SP.

"Hire people better than you, delegate and do constant follow-ups that focus on results. In my youth, I wanted to do everything and I was very attached to the day-to-day business. I used to delegate less. Then I came to understand learning outside the company is also rewarding and compensates for your absence as a decision maker."
