Investor, Redpoint eventures
Flavio started his career in a small Brazilian company as a software developer. When purchased by an American company, he was promoted to IT Director for Latin America, with 160 people reporting to him.
The company was later bought by JP Morgan and Pripas became its Technology Director for Brazil. He was later invited to join Credit Suisse as CIO.
During the 2008 financial crisis, Pripas decided to become an entrepreneur. He started a social networking startup, which he sold in 2014, and decided to start a second company, which he later sold as well.
Afterwards, Flavio conceived and led CUBO, a project to promote digital entrepreneurship in Brazil that soon became the most impactful initiative in the ecosystem.
He is currently working to accelerate the Digital Transformation of large companies that invest in startups through the venture capital fund Redpoint events.
He was named one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business in 2012 by FastCompany Magazine.
